Can’t catch up

I can’t even catch my breath,

all those moments

all that time spent

it feels like it was yesterday,

I can feel the smiles,

hear the laughs,

but truth be:

it was a while ago.

Time waits for no one.

Time didn’t wait for me to catch up.

Time didn’t let me catch up.

Now, I’m lost

in thought

and

time.

Confused,

about when things happened.

About what happened.

Time happened.

Things changed.

It hurts.
