Help.

These gasps are a plea for help and I've called 'FIRE!' but you still won't turn. I know I'm not alone because millions like me are singing the song of the damned. You've removed yourself from the sweating masses and-surrounded by flames- refuse to acknowledge we're in Hell. People are passing buckets of icy water down the line and I watch in agony as you place each at your feet to boil.

"It's my right to not do anything." you reply to echoing screams of frustration, what about ours to respond.

Your shoes begin to melt and you complain of the heat while you now sip and indulge in the icy water shoved your way. The fire still burns. Your relief is temporary. Actions have consequences and if you are't a part of the solution, you have become a part of the problem.
