Alas!

it might be

better said

I only know

what I know

now and then

or that present

knowledge does

form rather

than conform

to the past--

and only again

the moment's

ache or thrill

informs what

viewpoint

I'm seen

to be seeing in

I do remember

now a certain

calendar...

of where we've

been that

never seems

to pass... but

I see only

momentary

tomorrows

and today's

yesterdays

and know

only what

I know

right

now
