Quarantine

As the love we show depletes

Everyone is stuck at home

Keeping each other's love at home

Too afraid to go outside

Too torturing to stay in

How many days has it been I wonder

It's so easy to lose count

Staring at the same things everyday

Only to see those numbers go up

Racism and blame being thrown on the chinese

Yet we need to stay strong

The knives that cut our strings

Will never cut our wings

For we will wait till the day

Where we can soar and rise above again.
