Clouds
of ice cubes
clink,
stirred into
cherry blossom skies.
Yellow,
spiked with
pink,
a splash of
grenadine surprise.
Wedge
of lemon garnish,
sinks,
consumed in
cobalt tides
as
silver lightning
blinks
and
starlight sparkles:
evening’s eyes.
