They Made You Something You Weren’t (Only The Fandom will Understand)

They turned you into something you weren't.

They made you try to murder your nephew because he felt a pull to the dark.

But you would have never done that.

You would have loved him back to the light like you did your father.

They made you abandon everybody you've ever loved.

But you would have never done that.

You would never have left,

Your sister who defended you.

Your best friend who saved your life more than once.

Your students who looked up to you.

Your friends who fought alongside you.

You were patient

And they made you ill-tempered.

They made you leave the order and say that it needed to end.

But you would have never done that.

It was you who did all you could to save it.

It was you who strove to rebuild it.

You were always an optimist

And they made you a pessimist.

They made you run and hide away when a new challenge came.

As soon as you tripped up you backed down.

But you would never have done that.

You would have dusted yourself off and gone on.

You were strong

And they made you weak.

They made you into everything you weren't.

You left everyone you're loved ones to the mercy of the dark.

You let your nephew become consumed by hatred and pain.

You abandoned the weak and helpless.

You were sworn to protect them.

It was your duty and your honour and you left it like it was nothing.

You were a hero

and they made you into a coward.

You would never run away from the fight for what is right.

You would have fought like a hero

And if it came to it

Died like a hero

Like your father and mentor before you.

That was the you who we once knew.
