i am proud

of how far ive come.

with my thoughts so loud

i thought i'd be numb.

i was hurt so much by the past

there was enough pain and anger

to last

and in order to get better

i had to let it go

so i could learn to grow.

and i hope you are proud too

because even though i have a scar

or two

i've come so far.
