bounding over hills, skimming the surface of the bottomless ocean

with a brush of its fingertips

it goes on

squeezing in between the space of 2 lovers

teasing every leaf it sees,

all while laying down next to you

on the kitchen floor at an ungodly hour

its invisible yet heavy palms

rubbing your shoulders
