I met you in a crowded room

I met you in the street.

I met you on the surface of the sun.

I was so nervous I could barely breathe.

You said you couldn't think

so I said we were even.

I met you in the center of the moon.

I met you amongst the stars.

Every shimmering vessel of light

still wasn't as bright as you are.

So I met you.
