The Holiday Season

It's supposed to be a joyous time of year

yet I'm just counting the days for when it's all over

It used to mean something when I was little

yet now it seems more like something made for the fairy-tails of our children

I just wish I could find my way back to those child like memories

Maybe one day I'll remember how to get back to those days

I know I should just find the Joy in the people that are around me

however they are only after the materal parts of the holiday season

and now what it's really all about and maybe that's why it's better to be alone

Here is to the Holiday Season that is here another Year and surly to pass and come again!
