Today

I walked on a beach

And a path on a cliff.

I smiled at the sun

And the sun smiled back,

Shining brightly

With warmth.

And I thought of you

And your beauty.

I'm in a beautiful place.

But without you.

The beauty is still here

But without you, I need

The sun and the sand

And the sea

To fill the void.

For when you are here

I am complete.
