Is bright--and dangerous.

Destroying and consuming

Everything around it.

There is no stopping it

Once it has started.

Only the strongest, hardest

Stream of water can put it out.

Fire

Spreads so quickly

That it is difficult to control.

And one is often so distracted

By the flames,

That they cannot seem to find

The source.

Once a fire is gone,

All that’s left

Is a burning husk

Of what was once

There.
