Challenge
Before and after.
I've noticed on Prose, many writers have a talent for cramming a big story into a short story. We know that something has happened before. We know that something will happen after this event. That's my challenge. Write a scene so we can wonder what happened before and what is coming next.

She stared at her as she walked away, possibly from everything that she had ever known. She would miss her indefinitely and she could feel the heaviness already pressing down on her heart, her lungs, her soul.
