I miss you.

Even though our memories are faded in my mind,

I miss the way you made me feel,

And I miss how badly I wanted you to be mine.

It's poetic almost but seems cruel,

How badly I still miss you,

That fire you sparked is all but dead,

Sometimes I swear I can feel you,

And I swear I can hear you in my head,

Whispering back, I miss you too.
