Calling Temptation

the faint silhouette

danced slowly

by the moonlit window pane

a sea of mystery

darkness tangled with luster

both

silently calling my name

to get lost in the rivers

of the murkful soul

without abandon

no restraints

succumbing

opening the glistening flesh

allowing the fangs to bite

tasting until sated

aching until whole

illumination glaring

the heart pleading

the tear soul yearning

eyes to look away

walls back up

the mind to place all on

~ pause ~

when the depths of

temptation calls
