The Start of Something

Without really knowing we started this thing together,

as I got to know you I wanted you in my life forever,

If life was just a moment I’d wanna spend it with you,

if the world was against us it would be them versus two,

you see the world so different to everybody else,

I couldn’t believe I found someone so like myself,

we don’t agree on everything but I love to hear your opinion,

you know mines is a world away from other women,

You treat me like I’m the Queen of the universe,

Like every single word I say is another gospel verse,

when we talk about life with no boundaries and no limits,

and how we’re both ready for it to begin at any minute,

You don’t just make me better you inspire me to write,

The feelings and the words flow together every night,

you make anything seem possible with you by my side,

there’s nothing wouldn’t give up for this, not even my life.
