Canvas.

What was she supposed to do?

Fall apart at the seams

When shed already shown you they were splitting?

Let everything fall out onto the floor

Because you told her that the sun no longer rose and set upon the canvas that you once made

Of her body?

No;

Because as broken as she was

Ans as broken as you left her

She was her own seamstress.

And shed learned

Long ago that

She

Is the artist

She can paint her own colors upon the canvas that is her body.

For she merely lent you the brushes with which you created your mark.

But every mark you made can be reconciled

Cleansed

And with a fresh slate

A fresh canvas

Fresh stitches

She can begin

Anew.
