Stalker Farms 1st Annual Horror Short Contest
I work for a haunt attraction in Snohomish WA called "Stalker Farms". It is an immersive experience haunt with story lines and characters, so we are looking for stories, back stories, tall tales, feverish recollections, bad dreams haunting memories... Write a horror story that creates a tale of horror around one, two, or all of the characters described herein. We will link from our Facebook to your entries on Prose to get you more readers! These are short stories, we are looking for up to 500 words max. Our staff will pick a winner. If anyone lives in Western Washington then we will comp tickets to anyone that enters a submission and wants to come out. The winner gets $100. Good luck! Write a story about any or all of the following characters: Suzie - The golden child of the Slasher family. She is spoiled rotten to the core. Her demented giggles taunt her play mates. Over 30 years old but she still doesn’t look a day over eight. Chuck - A butcher that takes a lot of pride in his cuts. He is known for his barbecue, just don't mind pulling a few human hairs out of your teeth. Make sure you don't complain or you will find yourself unlucky enough to be served next. Eski - No bloody sacrifice is enough to appease the terrible craving for blood demanded by this horror, born of a thousand tortured soul's tormented screams.

Did you just hear that?

Suzie wasn't always spolied. She did her chores and went to school everyday. She was even student of the month 3 months in a row. Than Suzie started to notice that daddy loved mommy more. He always kissed her first when he got home from work. He always bought her flowers. Why didn't her daddy buy her flowers. Suzie started to get furious. Everyday was a reminder that her daddy didn't love her the most.

She started throwing tantrums they didn't get her anywhere but sent to her room. Until one night. She had enough. She snuck to the kitchen where she saw mommy smoking at the table. She stayed hidden and grabbed a knife. She knew if she was caught up she would be more than sent to her room. She had decided. She walked up to mommy, looking really sad. Suzie said she was hungry and that she was so sorry and before her mother could pull the cigarette away from her lips Suzie pulled out the knife and cut off her mothers lips. She bent down to her mother who was screaming and rolling on the floor. She said "Now, I'll be the only one getting kisses from daddy." She plunged the knife into her chest, giggling. She had won daddy's love. All of it.

Her father came home and saw Suzie playing in her mother's blood, still giggling with delight. He ran up to them screaming, and Suzie looked up to daddy and puckered her lips. He knudged her out of the way and threw himself over his wife's still warm body. Suzie was enraged. With her mommy out of the way she thought daddy would be delighted to see her. Suzie stood up from the ground, and walked over to her parents. She pulled as hard as she could to get the knife out of her mothers chest. Once her daddy realized she had removed the knife he slapped it out of Suzies hands, this shocked little Suzie and than flung himself over his wife once more. When Suzie wasn't frozen from shock she picked up the knife and lunged it straight into her fathers back, right into his right lung. He rolled to his back gasping for air. Suzie went up to her father and whispered, "Now, I will always get what I want". She slit his throat and played in his squirting blood lke a sprinkler.

She played in their blood until the neighbors found them hours later. She just kept laughing, and giggling. Her giggles echoed through the house, and they say you can still hear them. It has been 27 years since little blonde haired, 8 year old Suzie murdered her parents. They say playing in her parents blood kept her from aging. They also say losing her mind that day is what has kept her a child forever. Wait, did you just hear.. giggling?
