I Am Just Me

I'm not stubborn, I just do what I please.

I'm not selfish, it's just all about me.

I may seem heartless, but I once cared a lot.

I'm not crazy, my nerves are just shot.

I'm not picky, I just know what I'm worth.

I'm not mean, but yes I got hurt.

I'm not flawless, though on the outside I look fine.

You can't see that I'm broken, but I'm crushed deep inside.

You look at me & judge, but you don't know me.

I'm this & I'm that, but I'm not what you see.

God brought me here, just the same as he did you.

A little girl, who did not have a clue.

Someone messed me up, & that's when it hit.

I'm no longer a little girl,
