Shall We

You were like the music I would dance to

I'd turn you on, then continue to replay you

You spoke with so much certainty

and I respected all your confidence

Did it for my attention I'd be wrong to not acknowledge it

Smoove but yet so bold and so many other things,

A perfect combination of the tango and the swing

From latin to street dance and everything thats in between

You are still the greatest thing I've seen

How you tailored your approach,

To be sure you wouldn't lose

And filled me with a passion that made me want to move,

Filled me with feelings that I just wanted to use

So when you held out your hand,

You just knew I couldn't refuse

When you said

So shall we dance with no fear

As I put my hands in places,

That'll make you remember I was here

We can slow dance to "If This World Were Mine"

Moving to the song as I'm gazing in your eyes

So shall we Carpe Diem

And we stay here together from the A.M. to the P.M.

Cuz you captivate my soul

and make me cancel all my plans

So please just take my hands when I ask you

Shall we dance?
