Final Frontier

I wish to be like the astronauts that travel there

that get to see stars in perpetual night

and the sun rise over the Sea of Japan.

I want to watch the Milky Way run like a rushing river

and see what lies beyond the moon's dark side.

Grab comets by their tails and watch them squirm

Ski along the Ganymede; Jump through the rings of Saturn

Watch Venus change its shape.

Hold my breath as i pass through giants of gas

Steal diamonds from distant planets

and find my way to the end of the universe.

In the end, i just watch time fly by faster and faster

Wishing to discover new life in this lonely world.
