Opening To a Horror Story

The blood on the white tiled floor told them there was something wrong, but if one paid closer attention they'd find several other things as well: the smell of death and decay, a knife in one of the shadowy corners of the hallway, the faint whispers that seems to be in the wind all around. And last but not least: the feeling of being watched, so profound that they each felt it on their skin.
