Write a poem based off of any time of day
Create a poem that you associate with a specific time. If you call it poetry, I suppose it must be just that. 10-500 words, ending 11/02/2017.

Footprints of Dawn
I lie soundlessly
cradled in the peace,
waiting for
the first breath of day,
basking in
the dusky night sky,
inhaling the breeze
caressing dawn,
moon fading
to daybreak,
clouds parting
to allow the blink
of sunrise.
The day peeks
with first blush
in shy whispers.
I feel naked
in the revelation
that I am alone
but not lonely.
Infancy of new day
tiptoes softly
into my soul,
bathing me
in cottony light –
embodiment
of rebirth of life.
