Padding towards destinations

At a pace foreign to my mind,

Sun lights my feet

At different angles now

But I like it:

New life within my grasp;

No longer smoke, convolution,

Backstabbers,

Artificial high,

Boots scrape against pavement,

Look up, see

I walk upon a culdesac.
