We built the spires up
To bring them falling down;
Their scattered dust & rust
Fall softly on the ground.
What mist
(or spray)
Will calm them?
What muddy, bloody brew?
To build again,
With sweaty men,
“The Spires, the Spires!”
Mighty risen ruins.
