Violence

Violence.

We all widely accept that it is bad,

Yet I find something disturbing.

We don't condone it,

But we don't stop it either.

We admire nonviolent protestors,

But we allow violent protests.

We try to stop violence with more.

We feed those hungry for it,

But we can't feed those starving.

Society sees violence as nasty,

But they'll watch a fight.

They'll fund a war.

They'll back their militaries.

Does anyone else see a problem?
