this is not about seasons.

seasons come as quickly as they go

and the shining summer romance, 

is lost to the first fall of snow.

the winds begin to change, 

as do you. 

but worry not-

that snow melts too.

spring brings back the color 

that you so missed, and maybe 

it doesn't bring back the lover, 

but you don't mind. 

because spring has brought you something new, 

something exciting, 

completely out of the blue.
