Twilight, and the Ocean Breaks

The day is over

With it goes my 

Imaginations,

Love,

Ideas,

Glory, but mainly my

Hope, because 

Today my heart was crushed.

A wandering fragile butterfly,

Not too different from myself,

Does not stand a chance in the brutal world outside

These walls that protect me,

Hide me, help me to

Escape.

Oceans of sorrow flow,

Covering me in their tide,

Escape seems impossible,

And mainly because I do

Not try.

Because it's better to drown in sorrow,

Rather than to die in a false sense of

Euphoria that will not last,

And I don't think that I can ever the 

Kind who is always happy, 

So I don't try.
