rain and sadness

a slow sheet of rain hit the window

it turns louder and louder

my rage hits its high

the thunder clashing 

and the lightning striking

it slows back down

its only a light shower now

my rage is calming down

the sadness pours in

I can't stand it no more

it all comes down

my tears hitting the floor

the rain pounding against the window

I cry it out

 the rain pours down

it won't stop now

till I calm down

but things won't ever be the same again

I know

for I will always be different

be lonely

be sad

be unique

no one will be there

just me and the sky

the rain pours down

touching my skin

I can't take it no more

I let it go

as I close my eyes
