Just another aspiring writer. Who knows? Maybe all this pain will pay off in the end.

Dear Cleavage

Everyday

You destroy me

Walking by

My eyes strain

My heart pumps

Goose bumps form

I salivate

In my mouth

Drooling

Licking my lips

Like steak before me

Delicious

Soft clouds

Bounce into my vision

Lust forms in my eyes

Concentration diminishes

Focusing

On those soft globes

Walking away stunned

Confused

In a day dream of passion

Powerful

Emotional

Lucid thoughts

Rummaging in

My mind

-untitled-

someday you'll see that

words don't always cause scars or bruises

or happiness or love or anything at all.

someday they'll just sound like syllables and

look like scratches on a paper and you'll realize

how meaningless it was all along.

write me a step-by-step guide

on how how to get over something

that never happened,

or how you know you've lost something

that you were never looking for,

and I'll write an obituary for you

while you are still alive.

Statues

I will wait

just long enough for you.

I will stand here in the cold

as the sun dips below the horizon,

as dark clouds form and I pray for snow.

The roads aren't salted.

I will stand here like a statue

with my eyes closed,

I'll still be waiting,

listening to stale silence

as dawn emerges

from this darkness.

The snow will melt

and so will I.

my hair will be covered in ice

and when it melts,

I'll be standing in the spring rain.

I'll watch the flowers grow from bare earth

and I'll continue standing here,

vines wrapping around my feet.

I'll wait so many seasons for you;

I have nothing better to do.

Pull me close.

Kiss me slow.

Just please don’t ever,

Let me go.

Don’t let me go.

Touching Life

My time flows uninvited

as I hear the quiet whispering.

I breathe the summer rain

sprinkling on my face.

I unlock my world

to touch life unfolding

My fingers search

for your heartbeat.

Laughter and wisdom

passion and sensuality

pump in my veins

I feel the beat.

I hum as I leave a kiss

in your bed.

I feel the flutter

of a butterfly within

and feel love

flitting in the air.

I grasp the space

around me

hold it to my embrace

as I talk to myself.

I close the eyes

that see no pictures.

I face the sting of the wind

and feel its strength.

When dark night falls

I can see no void.

My senses take me

traveling to places

I’ve never been before.

if every...

if every flower were given wings...

the world would be filled with

butterflies

if every hand were given helium balloons...

the world would be filled with smiles

(and chipmunk voices)

if every mind were given imagination...

the world would see butterflies and balloons

on the bleakest of days

You know things are no longer normal when...

you awaken terrified, and when reaching across your bed there's just a pile of ash.
