what if god caught jesus sinning

what if god caught jesus sinning

the years of lies

that built his safety nets

were shredded

what if mary found his world had stopped spinning

jesus knelt nevermore

sang nevermore

would never shutter a tear or manage a smile

what if juliet was the one left winning

without romeo by her side

he was mess

no one should be burdened by spirits

what if sampson’s hair was never thinning

it’s the source of his strength

it’s his achilles heel

discovery takes visible steps

what if god caught lucifer grinning

he’s claiming yet another

“it’s all for real this time”

“…no more stunts

what if god caught jesus sinning

ghosts

we’ve never actually met

you & i

but i think if we talked

we’d really hit it off

i talk about you

with my friends

(the ones in my head)

my real friends would think im crazy

they might think it’s them

some of them might be right

damn i feel like Tyler

the only one calling my bluff

is the one who knows the truth

if i think about it hard enough

i can feel your kiss

(or at least what i

imagine what it feels like)

i can almost

dance with your ghost

Hymnal For the Cold

Where some of us live

It's a mystery every winter

Whether it'll come or pass

Whether it'll stay for the weekend or until the festivities are over

We sing, dance, laugh, play around it

It makes the season even more beautiful

No matter how much cocoa we drink

Presents we give

Carols we sing

We can't make it appear

Mother Nature must bless us with it

The powder

So delicate

The slightest touch will destroy a hundred flakes

Nonetheless

There is already a string of a thousand more already taking its place

Drifting

Piece by piece

Creating a landscape so perfect

It looks as if a god had crafted it himself

Perhaps that's why we carve angels into it

Challenge
Describe color to a blind person. Paint them a mental picture.

Sakura

It's what those who can see may call

A pastel pink

I say

It is much more beautiful than that

It's calming

The way a breeze may feel

On a warm

Spring day

It's beautiful

Even to unseeing eyes

A loved one

Planting the flowers of the same name in your hair

One

By

One

Yet

It's so delicate

As if

The slightest breath

May shatter it

Into a dust that would fill the sky

That

Is Sakura

Flower Boy

He's young

Still older than her

His direction of life, unclear

Hers, even more

He knows little

Her, less

They are young together

She still feels behind him

Flower boy must go off soon

"Don't leave, please"

He can't part from her

She won't let go

He is terrified

She, despairing

He is a dimmer shade of blue now

Her pink, faded to grey

He discovers a new yellow

She spots it as well

"I still have time"

"You can spend with me"

He carries her in his arms

Her hair, flowing with his motion

For every Flower Boy

Needs his Flower Girl

Yours

I get it

You think you're not enough

Think I'm too good for you

That you don't deserve me

Well honey

I'm yours

And I'm here to stay

No one can take me away from you

I don't care if they

Are the most beautiful

The richest

The most famous

Perfect

Because those are all lies

Those titles don't belong to them

They're all yours

(Maybe not richest

neither of us are hun)

But

I like to call myself the richest

Because baby

You're priceless

And you're mine

So next time you doubt yourself

Just remember

I love you

And I'm yours

Sunshine

I thought I was on the right track

Turned away from that dark road

Hadn't looked back since

Yet

I never fully left

All I did

Was drift away for a while

I was fooling myself

"I'm on the up and up

I'm happy

I don't want to pop those pills

Everything's fine"

Lies

All of them

I tried to escape

Go to a couple places

Make a couple friends

Post that shit on Instagram

Make it look like I'm

Fine

Lies lies lies

I finally realize my lies

I can't stand to look in the mirror

Even more than usual

My face disgusts me

As I see not myself

But a loser

I don't want to talk

Eat

Write

Play

Listen

I want to sleep

Because it's as close to death

As I'm

Willing

She's a beautiful

Lustful

That temptress calls me closer

Every

Single

Night

And sometimes

I want to call her embrace

But I'm too much a coward

To walk into her arms

She invaded my sacred space

Somewhere I thought I was

Free

A place with memories

That bridge

With my name written on it

The bottom of that river

Blank

Waiting for my signature

I can't swim well

Not while

I'm being held up

By the one

That won't

Let me go

I didn't know it

We were just friends

Nothing more

Not lovers

Not significant others

But she

Was the one to save a sinner

Her golden hair

Draped down her face

Like rays of sunshine

Her hand

Grasping mine

Not letting me go

Holding on until the end of time

 A forever

She loves me

And I her

She's the only reason

Why I can wake up

And love something

Everything

She's as bright as any star you'll find

That dark sky behind her

But when the morning comes

Her light does not fade

She is

My sunshine

And I

Am proud to call myself hers
