Beauty and the Beast

Separate human beings hated by all;

Not given a chance to amount

To the ones that wanted to watch them fall.

The sentence was death,

But notice took their disease.

A sudden stir of breath

Would leave the victims displeased.

Two people marked by hands of fate;

The girl’s life destroyed,

And the boy’s filled with hate.

Guilty was the decision-

The two were institutionalized.

Their lives on the road to collision,

But first they’d be dehumanized.

They were feared by pure hearts.

And while being treated like beasts,

Told their afterlives wouldn’t start.

Now the girl was quite alluring,

And the boy had a dark soul.

Meeting would be an enduring

Time from a simple stroll.

The hatred would be set aside.

The two beings said to be desecrated,

Yet in each other would they confide.

Love began to invade

The two marked by loathing.

Of love were they afraid

Despite them not knowing.

A simple ending to a dramatic start,

Beauty and the beast found love

In each others’ heart.

In the beginning…

                                                                                                         …there was nothing.

The supreme deity everyone referred to as “God” came into existence by accident.

There was a rip, a tear, in the fabric of the universe, causing this “God”—or energy (as this is more scientifically accurate), to be sucked into this blank void that was our world.

The energy was not pleased with the pure darkness, for it was positive—it was light.

When the tear closed, the energy expanded farther than the eye could see until it burst open: spreading stars, planets, and galaxies across the sky.

Each planet had its own purpose; and one planet specifically intrigued the energy, so it let its powers rush down onto the blue and green planet and with it, the energy broke off pieces of itself to live within each creation that sprung to life at its touch.

The energy lived within the grains of sand and rice, the ocean and lava, the plants and tree, the fleas to dogs to humans—and they all had purpose.

The energy did this so this race could be self-serving… so they would see the power in themselves and each other and thrive without help—however that would never happened.

The energy saw man thriving to live by creating something to pray to—by having false faith in gods and idols that did not exist.

Man needed to believe in something, it seemed, to get by.

All of these things, these different religions, lead to wars, hatred, chaos, and destruction.

This was something that upset the energy.

If man needed faith, why have war?

Why couldn’t man be civilized and let each individual believe in his or her own god or deity, whether or not they are true?

It wasn’t something the energy could process, but one day it did.

Man needed something to fear, to hate, to target.

Man was a self-destructive race… and they could not be saved.

And unfortunately, that’s when the energy found out something else about man…

In the end of time…

                                                                                          …there would be nothing left.

Because in the end of it all,

mankind would kill each other over their differences.

What is family?

Family is a mere word… a construction of six of the twenty-six letters of the alphabet. Many say the last three letters “ily” are the acronym for “I love you;” yet, it can easily be mistaken for “I loathe you” and eventually, “I’m leaving you.” Family is just a word, a noun. There are two definitions for family: “all the descendants of a common ancestor” and “a group of parents and children living together.”

Most of the time, family is describe as extreme loyalty or blood with the saying “blood is thicker than water.” It is supposed to be the strongest of all bonds—the unbreakable chain, but some are caught with the other side: family that they cannot look up to. Water that will dilute the blood until it becomes nothing and fades away. The family who poisons blood—they will desecrate your name, rag you through the mud, use you until you’re broken down, and control every aspect of your life if you allow them to.

Family can be good or they can be evil, a blessing or a curse, the stairway to heaven or the highway to hell. Blood doesn’t make family. What makes family is beyond blood. It is far beyond ancestry. It is far beyond anything. Family is about love, respect, loyalty, open-mindedness, understanding, and sharing that love with one another. What changes that, what doesn’t make a family, is the exact opposite. Family is there for you when times are the hardest. They are the people who are there for you when you fall and who don’t turn their back on you when times are rough. Family is not defined by your name and blood.

The End

Fire and brimstone hail from the sky

Death of the wicked, innocent nigh

Nothing is heard over a cry

Thousands of people wait to die

Demonic laughs as blood is shed

Mark of the beast on everyone's head

The once colored ground now drenched in red

No gold roads are seen ahead

Don't cry to God, he can't help you now

Satan is your lord, drop and bow

Pathetic mortal, give him your vow

Prove thyself, how worthy art thou?

Demonic breath drips down your neck

If only you'd kept reality in check

Maybe you wouldn't be in this wreck

But your soul is now just a spec

Oh the price for wanting to sin

But you're just one in a million men

As the claw rips through your skin

Tell me, would you sin again?

Murderers, Rapists, Pedophiles and more

What are you damned to hell for?

Smacking the weak onto the floor?

Eternal punishment, forever be sore.

Left people for dead in hopes of escape

Forced yourself onto them in forms of rape

Had the camera on record for pleasure from a tape

Now your body shall be in a distorted shape

Begging for death and regretting your crime

No grief given for thou, this time

Cast into the pit of fire and out you climb

How can one forgive someone stained with grime?

Crying to God while engulfed by fire

Lucifer wrapping you in barbed wire

Minions mocking as you become the crier

Was all of this worth your sinful desire?

But don't wish for death, it will never come

You will beaten until your feelings are numb

Noise non-stop as demons bang their drum

Learn to love the end you succumb

Fatal Reaction

Blood shot eyes

Pale white skin

She loves those highs

She's at it again

Stopped blood flow

Tied off wrist

The pain will go

She clenches her fist

Needle in hand

Heroin inside

Misunderstand

The times she had lied

Skin is broken

Plunger pushed down

Words unspoken

Lips in a frown

Help is needed

But not received

She feels seceded

That pain relieved

Passing of time

Mind in a fog

This one crime

Causing a bog

Heart growing fast

Body convulsion

Life surpassed

By liquid expulsion

Words left unsaid

Hid were her actions

And now she lay dead

What a fatal reaction
