Memories

Sometimes I wonder if I'm still on your mind,

like you are mine.

I can't erase you from my memory, no matter how hard I try.

Did you erase me from yours?

No, I'm sure only time, will make things worse,

until the time comes, remember me forevermore, will you?

Time Loop

The days collide.

Was last night really last night?

The other day when I came over, you were sleeping soundly.

But when I talked with you that same day, your hair was a different shade and the sun peered out from the clouds.

The seasons changed with every blink of my eye.

"This virus that keeps us inside" you say

Will be the end of the time where days are days.

Now 1 day is all days, it's still the same day I've known.

Toxic

What happens when two toxic people fall in and out of love?

Their worlds may stop turning;

Or rather, they're both standing still with their eyes closed.

The world around them pays no mind to the tactics they bind each other with,

nor will the world care.

When two toxic people fall in love, each plot new ways to tie the other up furhter with the red tring of fate.

Comepletely blind to the pain they cause themselves;

Some say god complexes only exsist to those who believe in a god,

but with or without the god,

it does not matter to them.

With the power one holds holding another human's heart,

that is enough to call themselves the creator of all feeling.

When two toxic people fall out of love,

The Earth has a meteor shower,

and all will start anew.

Reverse

Excuse us while we sing to the sky.

All kids do is lie, but whenever we try,

It’s seen as a lie.

To get degrees and work hard

For nothing to be secured for sure.

Adulthood is hard. People say to let down your guard;

No, the other way around.

“Adulthood is not hard. People say to never let your guard down,

No matter what you do, you’ll have a secure life.

Getting degrees and working hard

It’s not a lie. I promise you,

All kids do is try. And in trying, we lie.”

Excuse us while we sing to the sky.

Run

Running.

running far within our minds.

running to-

Running.

running away from our minds,

to occupy someone else's.

Roaming.

out of their mind with new lessons, but not running back into yours;

Running. to a new mind. With new lessons and leeway.

running to-

Jumping.

jumping into the arms of that someone you love,

jumping into their mind, and out of your own.

Running, though,running into a mind,

yours,

or mine.

Stop running.

Take time.

Walk.

Pause; Run.

Now

The conversation was long,

it caried on for days.

She was happy as all hell,

didn't realize she was getting played.

She laughed, and cried,

he made her want to die.

The girl said, "no, I won't let you go."

He had left before the message sent through.

She was one, now.

He had won, now.

She was gone now,

He was all alone now.

Switches

The switch is flipped,

flipped,

flipped.

On, off, on, o-

It's on.

Now it's off.

Which one's better?

"They're both bad" she said.

Off switched itself back on, and it said,

"Off is best, but on is preffered, so I'll do both,

until i'm hated, or heard."

Most people by now know that I've made death my theme for January ... in doing so, I thought of this ... we have no clue when, where or how Death will come for us when it's time, but if it could speak to you, what would Death say
Poem, Prose or short-story ... What would the Devil say to you ... tag me in the comment section this way: @Danceinsilence ... otherwise I won't know you have done this.

You Don’t Want Me

She was young when she called me,

the name everyone knows me by:

Death, she called out.

You don't want me, you still have a life;

She didn't listen, she was blinded by the thought

of feeling nothing, or being at bay.

Death, or I, cannot help you, girl.

The girl listened not, but still begged all day,

that I, Death, would take her away.

I told her simply 1 thing:

Death, my dear, will not kill you so easy.

That heart in your chest, is killing you slowly.

Grow

Grow up, they say.

Growing up is the hardest way,

to be happy. Or is it?

People say,

to be happy you must find peace

but the peace within me was happy

when I stayed young and immature,

because growing up,

hurts

for sure.

Grow from the pain

Time is the best way.

Until the time rewinds,

and cycles unravel.

When that demon is slain,

you can go on with you day.

But the demon stays behind

in your mind

until it unravels that cycle,

going back to that day,

that day you felt

(pain)

Mother Pt. 2

It took her daughter to starve herself for her to realize eating disorders are real.

It took her daughter to get assaulted to realize survivors don't fake it.

How long will it take her mother to relaize,

that suicide could take her child away

quiker than anything else?
