As I was coming down the stairs
I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today.
I wonder if he's OK!
When they opened the coffin
They found nothing,
The poor old departed
Had farted,
And climbed out for a breath of fresh air!
Some may remember
And think, what was he really like.
Some may notice
I'm no longer around
And wonder if I ever really was.
Some may sense an empty space
Where I once was.
Will anyone care
None - I was always invisible!
How do crocodiles pick their teeth?
With difficulty!
They can't trust a friend
Because who knows how it will end!
So they try being well bred,
Shut their mouths instead,
And suck their teeth!
Do giraffes have long necks
Because they can't sit up and beg
But reach down instead
And steal your bread?
Or is their neck a sort of snorkel
So they can paddle in the water
Without fear of drowning
And also to see the difference
Between rocks and crocs!
As you get older.
Death hops up and
Takes a ride
On your shoulder.
He whispers in your ear
Don't worry dear,
I'll stay with you
Right to the end
Old friend!
I can tell by the wrinkles on my arm that I'm all washed up.
My arm looks like the beach at low tide!
Life has ebbed away while I wasn't looking!
Wouldn't Alzheimer's Disease be better called Old-timers Disease?
Then everyone would understand what was being talked about!
Unless they were Spanish or French etc. and they don't count!
The rich are rich and the poor are poor for the same reason.
IT'S THE POOR WHO PAY!
Money flows one way
And collects in the pockets of those who no longer need it!
Ooh, I'm busting,
But I haven't finished dusting!
Aah, just in time!
Now, I feel fine!
