Has There Ever Been A Day

Has there ever been a day?

Where sunshine feels like forever;

darkness doesn’t feel evil.

When light would fill your being,

and the soul seems to lives on and on;

has there ever been a day?

Time tests us all.

No timeframe ever mentioned,

where sunshine feels like forever.

We plod, tred down our road,

searching, sometimes finding our way;

has there ever been a day?

Even I, portending greatness,

see this life as a mystery;

darkness doesn’t feel evil.

Such are the thoughts,

rambled on by both young and old.

Has there ever been a day,

darkness doesn’t feel evil?

For Love of You

For love of you, I embrace my tears

Unwilling dead to give life its start

In a world gone dark by senseless fears

Waters turbulent, emotion sheers

Flight! Away my biased dreams do dart

For love of you, I embrace my tears

Disquiet trembles toward unknown years

On broken spirit, your will impart

In a world gone dark by senseless fears

Foolish shroud obscures God-given cheers

Now blessed with your mighty soulful art

For love of you, I embrace my tears

Strong one, innocent, slighted by peers

My life, now yours, a new path does chart

In a world gone dark by senseless fears

Your way, now mine, precious future clears

Imperfect perfection fills my heart

For love of you, I embrace my tears

In a world gone dark by senseless fears

Who stole the peace?

This paper cut hurts, hurts worse, worse than love!

How can empty crumpled reams weigh as much!?

The ghostly feels scream for a share of blood.

Go on, squeeze the heart, with vise and glove—

And note the blatant void's still white as such!

This paper cut hurts, hurts worse, worse than love!

Out of the drawer, we draw with light above,

A glimmer of pen, knife, and nib in clutch!

The ghostly feels scream for a share of blood.

Seeking the tender underbelly of—

a world best left within the writer's hutch!

This paper cut hurts, hurts worse, worse than love!

A vain responsibility we'd shove

To gladly rid, rid ourselves double dutch—

The ghostly feels scream for a share of blood.

Thoughts do not run like some red ribbon'd dove

...whatever the mind would hazard and touch...

This paper cut hurts, hurts worse, worse than love!

The ghostly feels scream for a share of blood.

A walk through the woods

I listen to the silence that echoes

I hear a leaf rustle in the wind

walking a path I know not where it goes.

On silent wings a bird flies quick then slows

red feathers to the sky ascend

I listen to the silence that echoes.

Green-leafed branches entwine to form windows

brief glimpses of blue that does not end

walking a path I know not where it goes.

Around me everywhere I see shadows

fauna who with the dark will to blend

I listen to the silence that echoes.

Of nature’s beauty poems I compose

wishing I could share them with a friend

walking a path I know not where it goes.

I find brief respite from the constant throes

of suffering life towards me does send

I listen to the silence that echoes

walking a path I know not where it goes.

The Sun Will Set; The Stars Will Die

The sun will set; the stars will die

When hands will loose the grip of gain

The soul will flee its earthen frame

Soon you'll enter dark from light

When buried, will your body blight

The sun will set; the stars will die

You'll be at rest, your tomb and grave

From all your toil and work for fame

The soul will flee its earthen frame

Guarantee in peace you'll lie

Forgive, amend before its nigh'

The sun will set; the stars will die

Futile, holding out for blame

Where it started; whence it came

The soul will flee its earthen frame

Soon, upon the bed you'll lie

Death will utter out your name

The sun will set; the stars will die

The soul will flee its earthen frame

Glitz And Glimmer A Dance In A Song

Glitz and glimmer a dance in a song.

Butterfly floating in an angular twist.

Express yourself, make it strong.

Your heart is certain to go along.

Heart skips a beat, I'm sure you will not miss.

Glitz and glimmer a dance in a song.

The position is everything, a stretch of the arm.

A swing of the head, sending a soft air kiss.

Express yourself, make it strong.

Make others join in, while you adjust the thong.

Do a silhouette, half bend and make a wish.

Glitz and glimmer a dance in a song.

Never make a move that seems to be wrong.

Remake it, re-arrange it and put it on the list.

Express yourself, make it strong.

If all things fail, you did your best, no matter how long.

You never gave up or suffered any anguish.

Glitz and glimmer a dance in a song.

Express yourself, make it strong.

Look, what’s ov’r yonder?

See the Sage pour the drink.

O, o say hope you get better.

Carefully I observe the philosopher,

Who makes sure to ev’r think.

Look, what’s ov’r yonder?

On folks, lads~ ‘n’ lassies- move closer

Come one, all & remember to wear pink.

O, o say hope you get better.

Here we go, search for the grater

Someone pass the cheese, it’s near the sink—

Look, what’s ov’r yonder?

Ghouls! heading toward us, where’s our leader??

Children gather to hide now, go past the brink;

O, o say hope you get better.

what happened to it, where’s the ladder?

Okay, don’t spill the ink.

Look, what’s ov’r yonder?

O, o say hope you get better.

I’ll Stay Here Right With You

I'll stay here right with you

Nestled on top to keep you warm

Nice and safe from the coming storm

You will soon hatch into your new world

Have no fear, you won't be alone

I'll stay here right with you

The storm eats up our sun

Across our dusty land

No rain to come, only sand

The sands fly wild with the wind

It's harder to see, but fear not my dears

I'll stay here right with you

This storm is now violent

My feathers are ruffled from this

No worries, no grain will touch your oval surface

The howling sands rage on

It's harder to breathe, but never fret my dears

I'll stay here right with you

As our time together finally fades
