Tracks in the Snow
Our pony is lost,
once a body, now just frost.
A loss we have all had to know,
yet your too young, so I leave tracks in the snow.
The strange lost pony,
gone to the snow.
I can't have you feel lonely,
I cannot have you know.
The lost pony's body, we buried right here.
Too young you are hon, to have death yet to fear.
So the lost pony becomes an emblem of a great trip.
And you may know him as such, and on faith keep your grip.
Raelia and Altius
The princess of Laventia had named the pony herself
It was named Altius after her grandfather,
The only one in her family to have shown her any measure of kindness
This pony was viewed by many as a mere pet,
But to Princess Raelia, it was much more
A treasured friend,
An eternal companion
The one she'd sob her sorrows to
When she couldn't take the scrutinization of her family members anymore
When upholding the royal name
And excelling beyond expectations
Became too much for her slender shoulders to bear
Raelia and Altius had been together since her early years
Quickly, they had become inseparable,
One of a kind
In the end, all they had was one another
