“Nourish Me, Please Try”

Nourish me

Overtly

Unlock my closed off head.

Rattle, shake'n'jerk me until

I relinquish all my dread

Save me from my sorrow

Her hold is grasping tight

Move me with what you see

Envelope me in light.

Persist past my resistance

Love me though I fight.

Encourage me to stop'n'see

All there is to like.

Sever my connection to this

Erase this downing woe

Take me from the hole I dug

Run and i will follow

You, quickly, let's go!

for m.

must you write the words you do?

understand me from miles away?

stop my breath and

tell me how beautiful i am without speaking a word?

anchor me to the expanse of your mind to:

find/ignite the dying embers of my heart

and make me love you.

For Tomorrow, I Die

Perchance, have you seen where I left myself

Entrapped in amber somewhere along my life's road?

Never moving, never striving, just waiting for the

Ultimate judgement.   Now comes the final eve of my

Life, and I find myself looking backwards,

To a time when I was free, when I loved, when

I lived, when I drank deep from the ambrosia of life.

My eyes look back along that road, to where I became stuck,

And they leak tears of regret, for the life lived not,

Tears for the self I used to be, as I prepare to leave this mortal coil.

Eternity will be my judge, and I fear it will find me guilty.

See the first words

Jelly is not my favourite sweet,

Eventhough with bread I eat.

Mangoes sweet and sour, are my loved ones when raw in a jar,

Sometimes make me lie to get from my brother's eye

And it Was So Obvious

I sit and toy with the

Many ideas in my head.

And after hours of chicken scratching,

Nothing quite fits. Three hours wasted, and

I honestly

Don't think that I am getting anywhere with this, so

I have now resorted to scribbling this work.

Oh well! I guess it's time to accept the

Truth in the first letters of every line.

Eyes

Ethereal sensations pass through me as he searches for his answer,

Yielding to the slightest touch of his hand as my own

Eyes stare deeply into his golden browns, and I

Smile and whisper such body-tingling endearments.

Inevitability

Decay sets in

Eating everything that was once perfect

Artfully dissecting each morsel of flesh

Taking away memories of that which was

Hardening the soul

Thinking nothing of your feelings

A loved one taken away

Kicking you in the heart

Eventually you accept

See you cannot defeat it

Unknowingly you forget the pain

Slowly walking into its arms

A step each day

Left foot right foot

Leading you to the end

Frost Giant

I cried when you left

Called your name aloud

You committed the ultimate theft

Hooked me in, made me proud

Encouraged me

Actively stole my heart

Ravaged all that we could be

Took and ripped us apart

the only One who drains the

sadness from my Veins and i don't

want this to End because

You'll forget me

a little bit One day at a time

Until i waste away
