Landru’s Proverb

Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day.   Keep the fish for yourself, and you can give him some leftover pimiento loaf from the fridge.   He'll never know.

Unity is the best policy

But to take the decision which needs unity is the first duty.

The Eyes That Won’t See

An eye for an eye,

And we destroy our kind.

In a place like this,

Envied are the blind.

Hate breeds hate

Like love breeds love,

And the two make a monster:

A one-eyed dove.

If this is our best,

Then it's much too late,

But, for now,

My future is left up to Fate.
