Let Me Cry for a While

Eyes peeping

through the keyhole,

I can’t see the future.

Worried with fear of

approaching battle,

whispers of prayers

escape my steeple.

Loved one struggling,

holding on to dust,

splendid suns

setting on another shore.

Breezes promise to lift up

to peaceful skies.

Let me cry for a while

a part of the plan.

Worry not of future

and enjoy the now,

love will gently take

tired breath away.

Beams of gilded light

beckon with

deathly brilliance,

memories murmur

within my solitude.

Ocean waves glide in

and flow back out

Worry is brushed

with angel wings.

Worry

You are thinking,

While hardly winking,

You are walking,

While self - talking,

You are asleep,

Yet wide awake,

What God gives,

You don't want to take,

You say,

He's just for name - sake,

Why then you cry,

When his gift you forsake?

Or may be that's the reason why,

Fear surrounds making you shy!

But you do know,

The wise have said,

Worry paves the shortest route,

To one's deathbed.

Worry

finding yourself

underwater

forced to hold a breath

you don't remember taking

gnawing, mounting

the desire to exhale

to let the water rush in

if only to stop you from

coveting

the air above

Worry, in all of its painful actuality

The want

the lust

the fracturing desire

to take our hands

our will

and place our fingers on

the unmovable rock of time

breaking our knuckles to move it an inch forward

to bend it with our sheer power to our advantage

but

the crippling reality

that our fingers are centimeters

away from the rock

and we are unable to reach any farther

but our minds push us to reach

to swing and stretch

to no avail

till our minds collapse

and our fingers turn to stone

and our eyes start to bleed.

Worry

Worry feels like-

Oh no, did I forget?

I probably forgot,

I always forget

Worry also fee-

WHAT WAS THAT?

Now I'm scared,

Where did it come from?

And finally, worry feels lik-

Oh never mind,

You won't like this poem anyway,

Will you?

I bet no one likes my poems,

I bet they're just pretending,

It must just be a cruel joke

And that my friends,

Is worry

Also known as everyday

That Little Voice

What if...

You're not good enough?

No one understands?

No one cares?

No one likes you?

Why do you bother?

Did you seriously just say that?!

Honestly, you are such a mistake!

Wow. I am shocked at how badly you manage to stuff up.

Why didn't you do anything?!

There is something wrong with you, my friend.

Just joking, I'm not you're friend.

You don't have any of those.

Everyone hates you.

Don't worry about it; it's true.

Do everyone a favour, and go off yourself.

I Worry

Worry is when I know that I ain't enough. Worry is when I know there are a lot of better girls than me. Worry is when you're not beside me. Worry is when I think of you leaving me. Worry is me without you.

Worry is staying up late, waiting for the person you care most about to text you

Worry is that sinking feeling in your stomach that something is wrong

Worry is walking out into a dark cold night, desperate for answers

Worry is the vibration of your phone when you finally receive that message five hours later

Worry is feeling physically sick with tears in your eyes as you read "I'm okay."

Worry is the fear of him lying because even if something was wrong he'd never say

Worry is realizing that you are helpless to him, no matter how badly you want to do something

Worry is realizing you're worthless

Anxieties Train Wreck

The pain was real as the knife repeatedly stabbed me in the back. Oh Julius Caesar how you must have suffered as I do now. Et Tu Brutus your final words. Why you brutal anxiety? why do you plague me so? I hear the train coming now and I'm too weak to stand. I guess lifelife ends with a light at the end of a dark tunnel. This is the way the world ends in a bloody train wreck.

Killer

Worry kills

Bit by bit

Unforgotten words of past

Cruel present

Frightening future

They won't let you sleep

Until you die

Hopeless
