as black as blue can be

The color of love,

Passion and pain,

Heart and soul.

a night sky

sprinkled with stars,

full of possibilities

Soaring in sparkling threads of windy infinity and boundless depths.

Back and forth,

it touches everything

but can't be

captured.

flecks of green

spill from your eyes

into my poem

The ink in my pen;

the pigment of the ocean.

High atop my throne. Amethyst in my crown. Men bow.

Oxygen transforms vein-blue 

to merlot;

I sip with vampire fangs.
