I turned on the light and there she hovered, a pellucid apparition floating in my vestibule. My jaw dropped at the sight. Quickly she vanished, but still her presence lingers. 

Moon drifts in seething seas

Smoky ghost wisps in ethereal entrapment

yearning for rebirth.

I awoke to a nightmare.

My head turned, the blood froze in my veins.

My God, may the lord forgive my sins; I'd slept with Donald Trump!

Animosity wrapped in a decaying suit and gray eyes.

Melancholy by proxy as I attempt to slip into deep sleep.

Frigid air is my safety blanket while he's always watching.

In the gloaming, comes the slither.

Tendrils coil up past my knee.

Can't bear to look, too scared to flee...my fear laid bare for all to see.

i saw her

and she saw me

all i shattered was a glass screen

I smelled the stench before I heard her growling. She came around the corner, her long new claws dripping blood. She was so small; I dropped the revolver...I couldn't fire.

She knelt over the body that was once her best friend.

Her lips quenched with fresh blood.

She became one with the legend of the northern woods.

His eyes were black as night, like his sun had set.

My instinct was to run, but he held me captive against his chest.

He was to become my demon.
