“Moments”

Never lasting long,

Will return and then be gone,

After promising to stay.

Returned before I asked,

Too far from my grasp,

You had to go away.

But to my surprise,

Without prayer, without cries,

Momentarily you stayed.

Held me in your hand,

Said you'd never leave again,

Until you and sadness trade.

Eternal

I would choose "eternal" to describe happiness because true happiness is forever. Happiness is always lingering underneath the surface if it's not on the surface. Even when you're upset, there is always a way to bring out your happiness because it was there the whole time—it was simply hidden by your other emotions. Over time it always reveals itself again, proving that happiness is eternal.

Blind

Gently. I love him.

Easy

Free

Complete

Blindly

I surrender myself

My mind

Never to roam free again.

Innocently

I give my all

Unknowingly

He captures my soul.

I know nothing

Because when the mind is clean.

Free of any suspicion

Free of hurt, harm, and danger

Free to glorify and fall in love

Then ultimate happiness is obtained.

The innocent fool.

Blind

Full {{of everything that could ever be}}

It could be "full".

Why "full"?

It does not have any transparent connection to happiness.

I do not experience happiness often, only exhilaration and love.

Those do please me.

But they do not make me "happy".

I can describe "happiness" as being full.

A day with everything one could ever have.

Sadness, pleasure, family, friends, grief, philosophy, self-discovery, wisdom gained, love lost.

It makes my heart full, full of everything that happened.

I somehow feel like I have experienced all I could in that timespan.

I gain wisdom.

I am hurt, but the ones who truly care about me will comfort me and hug me, whether it be in real life or over the internet.

All these emotions fit together like a puzzle that is almost too hard for humans.

In some twisted, wonderful, otherworldly way..............

It makes me feel happy.

Unregrettable

I choose the word "unregrettable".

Why unregrettable you ask? I say if you are truly happy then why would you regret a second of it and if you have no regrets then you can be truly happy.

The thing that makes me truly happy is reading and writing and I dont regret a single word I write or read.

Contentment

Being happy with what you do have. Being okay with what you don't have. More doesn't equate happiness. Less doesn't mean deprived. Things are meant to be used. People aren't meant to be things. Don't use things as a measure of your worth. Your measure of worth is about far more than just things.

Inexpensive

Inexpensive because that's just what happiness is. Money doesn't matter and you don't need material items to feel happiness. I find happiness by surrounding myself with people that love and care about me. That in itself is priceless. You can't pay to feel the happiness you feel when your are around people who love you and you love them. Therefore, I find happiness inexpensive.

Joy

One time my pastor told me, “Happiness comes from the earth, but Joy comes from God,” so I guess if I could describe Happiness in one word, it would be Joy. The Joy of knowing everything I’m doing comes from a place of faith. And I know that sounds like an overly religious answer, but at the same time, if I place my identity in my faith, why shouldn’t that be the source of my ultimate happiness. I find my fulfillment in the Joy of knowing that I’m loved by God and from that springs everything else in my life.

Happiness is circumstantial, but Joy is permanent.

Eyes

All of society carries with them a multitude of masks, personas that they use to face everyday existence. Among these facades should exist a smiling guise or two. When you attempt to make the men or women you care about happy, look not at their mouth but at their eyes; the only place showing through the mask. Happiness is a fleeting feeling, so you must look closely for the flames of joy flash in their eyes.

Anime

The reason I chose anime is because when I watch my favorite show, Fairy Tail, I get happy whenever my favorite character comes on or makes a really deep speech about nakama (means friends in Japanese). Plus it's an action/adventure/fantasy type of anime so it's full of FEELS. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will smile.
