Annua

There's a wonderful day that comes every year,

A time when everyone can hoot and cheer,

This day is always full of fun and folly,

That we don't sleep the night before fully,

But when it is over we shall slumber,

Like a pile of dogs and lumber.

Can you guess when it is?

It's a day for you and only you,

Where the candy crunches and the sodas fizz,

It's your birthday! Woo!

Christmas

As i wake up feeling the cold and fresh air

I smile as i danced through the magic in the air

Sippin' hot coco while singing the carols

Admiring all pine trees that lit up with decors

The busy people running around

As the they rush

for special gifts to give their loved ones

Oh it's the most wonderful time of the year

I wish it would last the whole year

The smiles i see as the kids knock on doors

Singing carols to warm up our souls

For Christmas is all about giving and not receiving

It reminds us that love is the best thing!

Kernow

Take me back to Kernow where the locals drink brown ale,

Take me back to Mousehole, let me walk among the shale,

Marazion calls me and I cannot let her be,

Take me back to Kernow to my friends down by the sea,

Take me to Saint Michaels Mount, I need to breath the air,

I'll not rest until I see the coves again down there,

Take me down to Smugglers Bay and pack my Hoggie sweet,

Take me back to Kernow to those old close cobbled streets.

Kernow.............Cornwall, England

Mousehole........Pron Mows-ell, a beautiful olde worlde fishing town.

Marazion...........Cornish town

Hoggie..............Home made pastry with stew at one end and dessert at the other. Made lovingly by the good wives for their fishermen husbands.

Pantoum For The Christmas

Everyone’s searching for that magical star

As the world is waiting for that eve to come..

Others keep guessing where the three kings are..

The Giver of Light is just yet seen by some.

As the world is waiting for that eve to come..

Songs of the children fills up all the streets..

The Giver of Light is just yet seen by some.

On that eve,it will be all for those who fits.

Songs of the children fills up all the streets..

Touching the hearts with love and peace.

On that eve,it will be all for those who fits.

His sincere promise laid on the star-lit trees.

Touching the hearts with love and peace..

Others keep guessing where the three kings are..

His sincere promise laid on the star-lit trees.

Everyone’s searching for that magical star.

The holiday of Summer...

Books are packed

Papers trashed or neatly stacked

A renewed warmth is on the wind

When long days begin

Driven by thoughts of what's next

Desiring an adventurous rest

Until, once again

Darkness falls, Cold wind blows

Leaves begin to tell tales of the future

A future everyone knows

And a new year begins

A year within a year

As summer vacation comes to its end

Independence Day

My country 'tis of thee,

Why does it feel

Like it's not of me?

The star spangled banner

Waves o'er my head,

And I can't help but to think

Of those long dead,

Who gave their lives for an ideal,

For a dream,

Freedom from tyranny

That it would seem

Is infiltrating our lives

And our rights,

Freedom hard won,

Of which we've lost sight.
