Single File

if faced

with trial

(I know)

you'd split,

at the side, draw me in

like Egyptian hieroglyph

above your heart

where our line

has crossed.

Not Knowing the Difference

I look at my Love, with deference...

" You and I will always be Friends, right? "

Doesn’t Add Up

A quick question to ponder,

for those whose hearts don’t wander.

If one and one are one,

then why does one minus one equate to...aargh...a vacuous, blackhole pit of despair reaching such a magnitude of suckage that nothing, including but not limited to joy and hope for a better future, can escape the accompanying shroud of negative, soul-crushing darkness resulting in a miniscule chance to find love again, even after adding more ones that its mother assured would be perfect fits when done?

Ummmm, asking for a friend who, unlike me,

isn’t “new math” savvy.

Til death, we part

When two

join hands

one turns left

the other turns right

and impossibly,

they meet the middle

and make a promise

becoming one

Hands

One and one,

One hand to another.

The hands who hold on tight as one entity, falls from the sky.

As only one can escape to see the sunlight again.

One smile.

That leaves you wanting and hurting for all your days.

One.

Only that one love, is whose hands you desire to hold.

From one singular point of the universe.

To that one place...

Called The End.
