Biggest, not longest

You - definition not me

I think the biggest thing one can do is to not think me but think of you.

Smiles

Every time you smile, the planet turns quicker

And gravity switches

And blood turns to liquor.

There's a mile between

The first and last letter

But to see you smile wide

Is a million times better.

Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide

Dicyclohexylcarbodomiide is a naturally occurring brain chemical that aids memory function.

I learned this at a memory seminar in Marrakech, of all places. It was a two-day intensive break-out session, part of a larger conference I attended. By the end of the class, I was able to memorize lengthy numbers with ease, rattle off complicated poems by heart and learn the names of 24 people in under 5 minutes.

The following night, our group (over 200 people) were treated to a casbah that was organized just for us. We would get there by bus. My husband and I took our seats, as other members of our organization boarded. One man got on and he looked so familiar. I stared and stared at him. Finally I turned to my husband and said, "How do I know that guy?"

My husband burst out laughing and responded, "Very funny."

"What's funny?" I asked.

Husband looked at me, eyebrows knitted. "Are you serious? He's the guy that taught the memory class!"

True story.

hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia- ironically a phobia of long words. Taking two years of psychology made me interested in phobias more than ever.
