I sat down and wondered who was I? What was my intent? I wanted to hear your voice, but I feared what you'd say. Your loathing and rejection of me made my hands fumble around, awkwardly grabbing onto items I once cherished. I realized I didn't know who you were anymore. I didn't know who I was either.

I glanced at the same beige bag sagging in the shopping cart, unknowingly feeling a sense of comfort within it. I went back to looking at the colorful sprinkles and arrays of colorful temptations. I get lost in my own thoughts and turn around. Panic and shock flood my chest. My small feet pad to the end of the isle. Eyes shifting. Heart racing.

Lost, me?

I always feel lost,

Lost in a days,

Even when I know what is going on.

Better question

More typically was there a moment I wasn't lost

From my first few confused steps to my first day of college

Always confused

Always panicking

Always on the edge of being destroyed

When wasn't I lost?

That would be a much better version of the question

When haven't I been lost?

The Time I Felt Lost

The time I felt lost was on March 7th 2014, when I went to have a check-up and my mom told the doctor to check me to see if I was a diabetic. They said that I was. I couldn't see hope. I felt lost.
