petals unfolding

to reveal bursts of color

my daytime fireworks

I beg you to look

Beyond the sharp, painful thorns 

And at the fair rose

don't dwell on the past

nor too much on the future

drowning in a sea 

of thoughts and ideas that 

beg me to write them

books left unopened

remain silent to eyes

that just look away

Just like a Pheonix

She rises from the ashes

Of despair; and soars

School can't get me now

No homework to hold me down

Free to write all night

Symphony of drops

Is my peaceful lullaby

In the darkest nights

Stop at the corner

Pokemons are waiting there

Gotta catch 'em all!

curled toes on damp green
