Or the coming and going of the tides.

So learn to live with the knowledge

That the you today may be gone tomorrow.

We don't know how they'll taste until we eat them.

We just hope that the oranges we're gonna eat...

The world is constantly telling us to live for the desires of others...

Your parents, your teachers, your lovers, and your friends.

And then, there are celebrities who try to satisfy the desires of countless people.

In order to satisfy the desires of others, you have to know first your own.

It didn’t matter what he did, he couldn’t run from the ineluctable melancholy that continued to plague his life. In many ways, it was the quiet sort of sadness, a translucent film that covered everything but was never really noticeable unless one chose to look closer.

He idly wondered if it was because he couldn’t help but to relieve the burdens on his friends and family when they asked, always taking in all of their problems but never giving attention to his own. Shaking his head in a feckless attempt to clear his troubled mind, he continued to put one foot down in front of the other on the walking path, slowly traversing the way home.

Should we change ourselves in an attempt to be liked by others? They shower their affections on your head and it seems to be a picture of happiness for the time being. But shall you ever decide to wake up from this transient dream, you won’t be able to recognize yourself anymore.
