Dying Stars

I'm surrounded by a million stars

dying in the sky

If I could light a million stars

I'd have no need to cry

You Don’t Even Know Them

It's easy to fall in love

You don't believe me?

Everybody has a type that their attracted to

and your no different

When that person walks by

The person who is your type

your heart races a bit

even though you don't know them

You become interested

even if it's only for a moment

but you walk on by

because you don't know them

It's easy to fall apart

I know you believe me

To think about someone all the time

and you don't even know them

to be distracted all the time

and make stupid decisions

because your attracted to someone

and you don't even know them

To ache inside and know there's nothing you can do

that you can barely function

and it seems utterly ridiculous

because you don't even know them

Could somebody be in love with you?

and you don't even know them

Could somebody be falling apart for you?

and you don't even know them

Millions of times a day, somebody is falling in love with someone

and falling apart for someone

and they don't even know them

Would you care to Dance?

Would you care to dance?

I love the mask you are wearing

It looks so amazing

It jump starts my imagination

I want to examine it, your mask

all the intricate details captivate me

You have used it effectively to capture my attention

Now I want you to take it off

I want to see the real you

Are you afraid to take off your mask?

Are you afraid I wont find your real face as beautiful?

Will I recoil in horror when I find out who you really are?

Do you like my mask?

I put it on just for you

Does the mask I wear impress you?

Do you like all the intricate details I've carved into my mask?

Have I used it effectively to capture your attention?

Do you want me to take it off?

I can't wear my mask forever

Would you think my real face is just as beautiful?

The dance is just about over

You've been a delightful partner

When I take off my mask

will you recoil in horror when you find out who I really am?

My least favorite things (parody of A few of my favorite things)

The thorns on the roses

the scratching of kittens

rusted out kettles and thin worn out mittens

busted up packages UPS brings

These are a few of my least favorite things

broken old horses and sour apple strudels

the ringing of doorbells

And overdone noodles

old alley cats that screech when they sing

These are a few of my least favorite things

Girls who complain with thier perfect complextions

people abusing the handicap section

the flooding that comes with the rains during spring

These are a few of my least favorite things

When the sun shines

and there's blue skies

and life's not so bad

I simply remember my least favorite things

And then I don't feel so glad

Someone

Someone is happy

Someone is sad

Someone's uncertain

and Someone is mad

Someone is playful

Someone is cruel

and I'm sure several someone's

are playing the fool

but this someone is lonely

while reading your posts

outside of existance

like some kind of ghost

forever to wander

but never to share

ignored and neglected

with no one to care

While someone's found love

Someone's found hate

Someone is bitter

Someone is late

Someone is anxious

Someone is kind

Someone is needy

and Someone is blind

AFFIRMATIONS

You are special

You are loved

You are highly valued

You sparkle like a diamond

You are somebody's dream come true

There is no one else who is like you

You are beautiful

There is a role that only you can fill

People would miss you if you were gone

You are needed

When you fill the role that only you can fill you will be happy

You are required

The world would be incomplete if you were gone

Lonely Hearts Club

I want to see

the sunlight in your hair

I turn away

just before you catch my stare

Sometimes I wonder

Could you be just like me

And wonder who might think about you

Late at night

when you lie upon your bed

and all your friends are out somewhere

having fun instead

Do you ever wonder

If there’s someone like me

who might just be thinking of you

But we cry

in the lonely hearts club

we always think that were the only ones

who wish on stars above

And we sit here feeling sorry for the chances that we miss

and wonder when

we’ll get that first kiss

I want to see

the sunlight in your hair

I turn away

just before you catch my stare

Sometimes I wonder

Could you be just like me

And wonder who might think about you

But we cry

in the lonely hearts club

we always think that were the only ones

who wish on stars above

And we sit here feeling sorry for the chances that we miss

and wonder when

we’ll get that first kiss

That takes care of that

I stand at the edge of the precipice

I peek over into the abyss

I see the ragged rocks below and cringe

I wondered what I was doing there

You stood beside me

"It's a long way down" you say stating the obvious

I'm a little nervous

"Let me help you" you say as you push me over the edge

As I'm falling to my doom you comment

"That takes care of that," and smile.
