A Life In Writing
She looks all around her and finds isolation,
Though that is the friend she despises.
For several moments, she paces around in desperation,
Trying to find someone other than herself.
Her dreams transform into nightmares,
Vivid places where fear attacks and kills.
And though she is haunted through terror,
She never gives up any bit of hope.
In the morning when she awakes,
She finds a laptop by her side,
And to the words on the keyboard, she takes.
She knows she has found a friend.
